Upon your arrival at Guwahati you will be transited to Shillong. On the way, you will come across the beautiful Umiam Lake, which is just across a hydroelectricity power plant. Upon reaching the lake, you can indulge upon the beautiful scenic beauty and boating. Thereafter, you will be on route to Shillong. After reaching the city you will be checked into the hotel and after a short break and lunch you will be enroute to the local sightseeing which includes places like Wards Lake, Lady hyderi Park, st. Cathedral’s Church and Police Bazaar.

You will be leaving for cherrapunjee after the breakfast around 7am. The first stop will be at the Mawkdok Dympep valley point and thereafter you will be heading to Mawsmai cave. Next on the list will be THE ECO PARK AND THE SEVEN SISTER FALLS which is the most premiere destination in cherrapunjee. NOHKALIKAI FALLS is another falls which will be the next destination and is also one of the major tourist attractions in that region. And from thereon you will be on our way back to the hotel. Next morning after breakfast, you will be taken to Mawlynnlong. Mawlynnlong is known for being the cleanest village in Asia and also it has a living root bridge. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. After the sightseeing you will be on your way to Dawki, which has the clearest river water in Asia. . Dawki is located on the border between India and Bangladesh. It is really hard to ignore the crystal clear water of the Umngot River. Boat ride in this pristine river is a major tourist attraction. Travellers enjoy being part of this magnificent scenery and enjoy nearby sights and sounds. Soothing natural beauty of this town and rushing water of Umngot River is a perfect combination for all kinds of visitors either looking for peace or for an adrenaline rush through adventure. After breakfast you will be heading to the wettest place of earth called “MAWSYNRAM”. Toppled power lines, streets turned into waterfalls and leaking homes are the norm for the locals, who have learned to never leave home without umbrellas as rain lashes down in the village of mawsynram. on that same day you will also visit the Mawphlang Dam and Jakrem(Hot water spring) and the Mawphlang Sacred Forest which is central to khasi culture of protecting, worshiping and revering nature. On day 5, after the breakfast you will check out of the hotel and you will on your way to Guwahati. This day you will first visit the Kamakhya Temple which is located on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Peethas in the country. Next spot will be the Umananda Temple . Umananda is the smallest river island in the world A.K.A the Peacock Island. Thereafter you will be taken to a river cruise in the Brahmaputra river. Overnight at Guwahati.
